I attempted to take artsy pictures of my P220, since I'm selling it, but I failed hard. Anyhow, post your Sigs/Other German Guns!

I'll see your German and raise you a German whilst we hold this thread at bay from the HK crew:

Of all my Sigs this one is my hands down favorite. Its the workhorse of the group with range, carry, and belt weight duties.

Sig replaced the springs as part of one of their packages promotions last year and I refused the refinishing as I love the classic and rugged look to it.

German guns?

Don't mind if I do. . .

First off, keeping with the current theme, my SIG P6/225. Whatever West German cop got issued this pistol didn't ever bother to shoot it much.

My 1939 manufactured, russian captured, Obendorff - made Mauser K98k. This is one of my two favorite shooters and just got a new sling.

My 1910 Erfurt Kar98a in a ww2-era K98k stock. I just got a replacement extractor for it, and now its fully functional.

This one isn't technically mine, YET, but it should arrive at my house by tomorrow. Unfortunately FedEx doesn't deliver over New Years. It's a German K98k (JP Sauer & Sohn - 1940) that, post-war, was bought by the Israelis and rechambered in 7.62 NATO. What can I say, it's got swastikas and stars of david stamped next to each other on the receiver. That's pretty much heroin for a history geek.

I'll call this my "irony gun."

And yes, box thread incoming when I get it.

Sig Sauer P229 in 9mm. I still have my K98k too but no recent photos of it worth showing off.

My Sigpro 2009 plastic Sig. It was technically manufactured in Switzerland but they are made in Germany now so there.

And I also have a J.P. Sauer & Sohn 1942 manufactured Russian captured Karabiner 98k with original markings and such, but I can't get a nice enough photo with this shitty camera so I'll post that later.

Gotta love that German need to over-engineer everything. I love the bolt on this thing.

I need to render this into an emote to fully express how I feel when I hold that thing:
