We know how it is: You got a sweet deal at a gun show that came with a firm handshake, perhaps some registration forms, and a receipt. The text etched on the side of your new firearm mocked you for the missing manual.

No more.

We are excited to introduce a collection of firearms manuals for many modern and antique arms, as well as blueprints and spec sheets. We've even got some Army and Marine training manuals in there, too.

The database is searchable so check back often to see if a missing manual for that gem you got has been added.

Until we get an idea of how much bandwidth the database consumes, we are only allowing access for registered users, so sign up, give it a try, and let us know what you think.

You can access the directory from within the How-To Subforum (http://230grain.com/forumdisplay.php?f=271) or by clicking this link (http://230grain.com/repository.php?catid=1).

Are you interested in manuals in other languages?

DrakeriderCA over on the "other" forum sent me a PILE of German language manuals for basically every pre-1945 pistol you can think of that was in German military or civilian hands in the 20s-40s.

If they're of use I'll move up my plan to scan then when I get back to the US from "whenever I feel like it" to "ASAP."

I just sent you a PM, but yes indeed! That would be a nice addition to the database.
