I'll take some more creative pics when my lens mount adapter gets here and I can use my 50mm/f1.8.

Still can't get this thing to focus right :(
These were taken with the kit lens and I over-exposed almost every one of them, and if I didn't they were out of focus

What's that plug on the end? Or are those blanks and it's some sort of debris deflector?
I vaguely recall one in Tigerland (I think) and one of the guys managed to shoot the plug at someone else or something.

It's a blank adapter; you need to plug most of the barrel so the expanding gas from the blank has enough force to work the action of the gun.

I think I'll use this config for coyote hunting if I ever do that.
Here are my two. Both now have Larue/Viking slings, though I don't know why I have no pix with them on. Oh well.

What did you use to paint the one? I'm going to be painting a synthetic stock tomorrow (today?) and I was planning to use Krylon Fusion, but if you have another suggestion I'm all ears.

I have used fusion for a few stock pieces and it works OK but if you have the time, equipment, and desire, I suggest you use Duracoat. The fusion wears off rather quickly in areas that see a lot of friction.
