FFL transfer nonsense.

So, here is the deal.

Bud's will not ship any guns to Maryland due to some personal grudge "Bud" has against the state. Which is pretty lame.

As a MD resident, I can buy long arms in VA. Can I get a gun from Bud's send to a VA FFL and then transfered to me in MD?

Yes. As an alabama resident, I got a rifle sent to an FFL in VA no problem. However, in VA you have to have a 2nd form of ID with the same address as your driver's license and your name on it to proves residency. A utility bill, car registration, voter registration etc. will satisfay this, and for any assualt kind of rifles you have to have a thrid form of ID (pasport of something, it may have to have your SSN on it but I don't think so). I dunno if MD has injected any fuckery into this process or not.
